COMMUNITY SERVICE

The Veterans of Foreign Wars has a rich tradition associated with community service. Constructive community service is a founding VFW tenet with volunteerism benefiting education, the environment, health sciences and civic projects. We promote patriotism with community programs that celebrate the lives and sacrifices of America's Veterans.

Every post in the District conducts community service projects. The problem is that many go unreported and the post does not receive proper recognition. Department and National also use these activities to maintain our tax-exempt status. Reporting can be done in one of two ways.

Download and print hard copies at:
Community Service Report Form
This form can then be completed and either mailed or faxed to department.

Use the interactive web form on the Department web site at:
http://texasvfw.sitestreet.us/240/Report-Community-Service.htm

This is the easiest and fastest way. The in-box of the email address you enter on the form will receive a copy. This allows you to keep all your reports in one folder without printing a hard copy.
